• The design, manufacture and supply of appliances to meet the individual needs of disabled people where they cannot be sourced commercially.
• The promotion of closer liaison between the engineering and caring professions.

REMAP (Scotland) is a charitable trust consisting of 14 Panels which cover most of Scotland. Although a separate entity, REMAP (Scotland) is closely associated with REMAP, its equivalent in England, Northern Ireland and Wales. The two organisations share common publications.
